Importer Decision File
A usable quotation begins with the Colombian importing company, destination city or department, sales channel and intended assortment role. Then identify the required burner count, exact catalog route, order quantity, rated-input requirement, voltage, frequency, plug and cord, control system, surface finish, intended cookware demonstration, Spanish OEM scope, destination port, trade term, warehouse-ready date, sample plan and inspection requirement.
Do not compare suppliers while any of those fields describe a different commercial version. A black-glass product image does not establish the heating technology. A published 220-240V field does not establish another voltage. A certification logo or report for a different model does not prove current Colombian market access. Yaoyuan Electric can organize factory-side product records, samples, artwork, packing and production evidence. The importer and qualified Colombian parties determine tariff classification, current RETIQ or RETIE scope, VUCE treatment, conformity route, taxes, consumer information and final authorization.
Importing company / city or department / sales channel / single or double burner / exact catalog route / quantity / rated-input requirement / voltage / frequency / plug and cord / control and finish / cookware demonstration / Spanish OEM files / destination port / trade term / warehouse-ready date / sample and inspection scope.
A compact single-burner route can fill an entry, supplemental-cooking or space-saving position. A wood-grain appearance can support a separate visual segment. A double-burner route changes counter space, rated-input review, carton economics, handling and receiving. Those routes should not be compared only by unit cost.
Write the channel job before sample approval: entry offer, core seller, appearance-led option or larger cooking route. Record the target customer, shelf or online presentation, intended order share and replacement relationship. If two models have the same job and no material difference in use, controls, appearance, electrical version or landed economics, remove one. A disciplined range gives distributors clearer stock decisions and cleaner repeat orders.
The public catalog provides two model-coded single-burner routes and two catalog-reference routes. These records are discovery evidence, not a signed production specification. Carton and loading figures are references from the published pages and require current confirmation against the approved sample and order.
The public route lists 2400W, AC220-240V, LCD panel, 8 units per carton and a 40HQ loading reference of 4950. Confirm current controls, glass, heating observation, plug, cord, label and carton.
The public route lists 2400W, AC220-240V, LCD panel, 8 units per carton and a 40HQ reference of 4950. Keep its wood-grain appearance and single-burner identity under a separate sample and artwork release.
The page publishes no model code. Text fields show 2400W, AC220-240V, LCD panel, 8 units per carton and a 40HQ reference of 4950; source imagery visibly shows ALP-13 on the panel and 3500 watts on the box. Identity and wattage remain open.
The page publishes no model code, wattage or voltage and lists 3 units per carton with a 40HQ reference of 1680. Its source box visibly shows SC-7038 and 3500 watt, conflicting with the separate SC-7038 single-burner route.
P69 page text and imagery do not agree on identity and wattage. P70 imagery reuses a code associated with a different single-burner route. We do not resolve either conflict by assumption. Request a current sample, rear rating label, panel image, internal packing, individual box, carton mark and signed specification before selecting those routes.
SC-7031, SC-7038 and P69 currently publish AC220-240V. P70 publishes no voltage. These facts do not establish availability for any other required Colombian electrical version, and they do not establish frequency, plug, cord, rated current or destination approval. The buyer should submit the exact voltage and frequency required for the target distribution plan. The factory then confirms whether that request is available, requires development or is not offered.
Use a separate traceable SKU for every electrical version. Show that version on the purchase order, signed specification, rating label, individual box, master carton, barcode record and warehouse receiving file. Never mix electrical versions under one barcode or carton description. If a new version is requested, use a separate sample, functional test and evidence review before quotation is treated as production-ready.
The buyer should specify the destination connection requirement instead of accepting a generic plug photograph. Record plug face, pin arrangement, grounding decision, rated current, cord marking, cord length, strain relief, attachment method and product rating label. The approved sample should show the same system that appears in the order and inspection checklist.
High-input cooking products require a version decision that accounts for the selected voltage, rated input, current, connection hardware and intended use. The factory should not substitute a plug, cord or rating label without a documented change review. The importer and qualified electrical or conformity parties determine whether the exact finished product and its connection system satisfy current Colombian requirements.
Colombia maintains different technical-regulation systems. RETIQ concerns energy-performance labeling for products inside its current scope. RETIE concerns electrical installations and listed products within its scope. Neither acronym should be placed on a ceramic hob file merely because the product uses electricity. The importer and qualified Colombian parties must assess the exact product identity, intended use, tariff subheading, electrical version and current official text.
The Ministry of Mines and Energy published a new RETIQ resolution on June 23, 2026. Because requirements and transition rules can change, use the Ministry's current RETIQ page, not an old checklist. Review the current RETIE page separately. Yaoyuan Electric does not claim that any displayed model is automatically covered, exempt, certified or approved.
Build a scope memo that records the official source, version date, exact product description, tariff subheading, model, voltage, construction, party giving the conclusion, required document and expiry or surveillance status. This memo becomes a buyer-controlled release gate. A CE file, supplier declaration or report for another route may be supporting information, but it is not automatically a Colombian conformity decision.
Do not copy a tariff code from a competitor or reuse the classification of an induction cooker without technical review. The responsible Colombian importer and customs adviser classify the exact ceramic hob using heating method, construction, burner count, rated data and intended function. Use DIAN's official tariff consultation to examine the current subheading and attached measures.
The VUCE import module processes registrations, licences and prior requirements for goods subject to those controls. The importer should check the current classification and product details in VUCE 2.0 before commercial approval. Where a technical regulation monitored by the SIC applies, the VUCE filing must identify the exact product and supporting conformity route. The factory supplies agreed technical descriptions and evidence; the importer or appointed customs party completes and owns the Colombian filing.
Freeze the customs description early enough to align the pro forma invoice, commercial invoice, packing list, model register, label and supporting documents. A vague description such as cooker is not enough for a controlled file. State the product identity, heating method, burner count, brand, model, rated data, quantity and intended use consistently.
The Spanish sale unit should be approved as a set: brand, buyer SKU, product name, model, electrical data, importer information supplied by the buyer, warnings, operating instructions, cleaning guidance, cookware explanation, warranty contact, barcode, country-of-origin statement and any required conformity or energy information. The buyer's Colombian legal and channel teams approve local wording.
Do not translate the English file after production has started. Maintain a revision register for the rating label, control-panel text, manual, individual box, carton, barcode and digital listing assets. Every released file should identify the model and electrical version it supports. If a claim such as rapid heating, cookware compatibility or energy performance cannot be tied to an approved test or specification, remove or qualify it before printing.
Retail text and digital listings should not describe a ceramic hob as induction unless the approved product uses induction technology. The product name, demonstrations, cookware guidance and customer-service script must agree. Clear identity reduces returns caused by buyers expecting the wrong heating behavior.
Define the intended demonstration before approving advertising. Record cookware material, base diameter, water or food quantity, starting condition, selected setting, time interval and observed result. Use the approved sample and electrical version. Do not turn one demonstration into a universal performance promise.
For receiving and customer service, prepare a simple Spanish explanation of compatible cookware, stable placement, ventilation clearance, control use, hot-surface precautions, cleaning and cool-down. If the product has residual-heat indicators or other safety functions, verify the exact route before writing the claim. The after-sales team should use the same model and version file as the buyer's purchasing team.
The inspection checklist should identify the purchase order, buyer SKU, catalog route, burner count, electrical version, plug and cord, control panel, surface finish, rating label, Spanish manual, box revision, barcode, importer data, accessories, carton quantity and sampling plan. Add product-specific functional observations: power-on, control response, heating observation, display or indicator, timer or lock if specified, surface condition, feet stability and cool-down behavior.
Compare inspected units against the approved sample and signed specification, not a generic black-glass image. Photograph the rating label, connection system, control panel, individual box, carton mark and sampled function. Record unresolved deviations and the party authorized to accept, reject or conditionally release the batch. Use the pre-shipment inspection control guide to connect inspection to shipment release.
Published page references show 8 units per carton and a 40HQ reference of 4950 for SC-7031, SC-7038 and P69. P70 shows 3 units per carton and a 40HQ reference of 1680. These figures are not freight guarantees. Confirm current packed dimensions, gross weight, net weight, units per carton, protective packing and loading basis for the approved version.
Calculate landed cost by SKU: product value, OEM setup allocated to quantity, inner packing, master carton, inspection, inland China logistics, origin charges, ocean or air freight, insurance, destination charges, duty, tax, customs service, inland delivery, warehouse receiving, damage allowance and after-sales reserve. Keep unconfirmed costs marked as open rather than replacing them with optimistic estimates.
For mixed containers, reconcile carton count, CBM, weight and loading position across every category. Ceramic-hob glass and controls require a handling plan that does not treat cartons as interchangeable filler. Use the South America mixed-container route for order-level allocation.
Work backward from the date inventory must be available for the importer or distributor. Include final specification approval, sample review, Spanish artwork, conformity or import-file work, production, inspection, correction allowance, loading, export handling, transit, customs, inland delivery, receiving and listing preparation. Any open electrical, evidence or artwork item should have an owner and deadline.
Do not promise a market arrival date before the product version and document route are controlled. A factory completion estimate is not a port arrival, customs release or warehouse-ready commitment. Quote milestones separately and update the buyer when an approved input changes.
After receiving, reconcile cartons and saleable units by buyer SKU. Photograph external damage, isolate affected cartons and record sampled product results. Classify complaints by model, batch, symptom, frequency and evidence. This separates isolated transport damage from repeated packaging, assembly, electrical or use-expectation problems.
Before reordering, review sell-through by role, stock age, returns, voltage or plug issues, Spanish-file questions, carton damage, service demand and unresolved evidence. Keep the approved sample and released files active until an intentional revision is approved. A repeat order should be a controlled release, not a fresh interpretation of old chat messages.
