Market Electrical Configuration

Electric Fan Plug and Voltage Guide for Importers

Country name alone is not enough to release an electrical fan order. The importer should confirm the actual sales market, rated supply, plug, frequency, label and any charging accessory before quotation and sample approval.

Electric Fan Plug and Voltage Guide for Importers

Direct Answer

Importers should send the required voltage, frequency, plug standard and destination market with the first quotation request. The factory can then check whether the selected model and its available configuration fit those requirements. Never copy an electrical version from another market only because the product looks identical.

Separate Voltage, Frequency and Plug

Voltage describes the electrical supply level, frequency is commonly stated in hertz, and the plug is the physical connection. They are related but not interchangeable. A request such as 'UK plug' does not by itself confirm the correct rated voltage or frequency.

Write each item separately on the quotation, approved specification, rating label and order record. This is especially important when one importer distributes to more than one country.

Confirm the Real Destination Market

The destination port may not be the final sales market. Goods can enter a regional hub and move to neighboring countries with different commercial expectations. Tell the factory where the fans will actually be sold and serviced.

If several versions are required, separate their quantities and codes. Do not rely on warehouse staff to distinguish visually similar cartons after arrival.

Review Mains-Powered and Rechargeable Fans Differently

A conventional fan mainly requires the correct rated supply, plug and product label. Rechargeable and solar directions also require review of charging input, adapter or cable, battery-related expectations and replacement responsibility.

Do not market a charging feature before confirming the supplied accessory and approved specification. The feature name should match the real configuration delivered in the carton.

Keep Labels and Manuals Consistent

The rating label, user manual, color box and carton information should not contradict the approved electrical version. Confirm language, model code and importer-required markings before printing.

A generic manual can create confusion when the order contains a market-specific plug or charging accessory. The buyer should review the customer-facing instructions, not only the product itself.

Avoid Mixed-Version Warehouse Errors

Different plug or voltage versions should have distinct SKU codes, carton marks or visible identification. Production, inspection and packing records must preserve the separation.

For mixed containers, include version quantities in the loading plan and packing list. This helps the importer receive and allocate stock without opening every carton.

What the Factory Needs Before Quotation

Send country of sale, sales channel, fan type, quantity, voltage, frequency, plug, packing level and destination port. If the buyer does not yet know the required standard, the order is not ready for final release.

The factory can discuss available model configurations, but the importer remains responsible for confirming local market and regulatory requirements with qualified local parties.
