Direct Answer
For an OEM fan order, approve the product logo, model naming, color box, manual, barcode and master-carton mark as one controlled set. The front of the box supports sales, while the carton mark supports shipment and warehouse operations. Both must match the actual product inside.
Start with the Sales Channel
A supermarket box, appliance-dealer box and low-cost wholesale carton do not serve the same purpose. Define where the product will be displayed, how much information the customer needs and how much handling the package must survive.
Avoid paying for decorative features that the channel does not use. Also avoid weak packing that creates damage, complaints or discounting after arrival.
Build One Model Identity
Use one approved model code across the product label, manual, color box, master carton, commercial documents and after-sales records. If the buyer uses a local retail name, connect it to the factory model in the internal record.
A model identity should remain readable after the outer carton is stacked in a warehouse. This allows receiving teams to allocate stock without opening boxes.
Approve Artwork as Print Files
The buyer should supply logo files, brand colors, required text, barcode information and language content in usable formats. The factory should return the production artwork for approval before printing.
Review dimensions, spelling, claims, plug image, voltage statement, accessory list and product picture. Printed claims must describe the approved fan configuration, not a different sample or previous model.
Design the Master Carton for Logistics
The master carton should show buyer-required shipping marks, model, quantity, gross and net weight, carton dimensions and handling information as applicable. Carton strength should reflect product structure, route and warehouse handling.
For mixed containers or several fan variants, clear marks reduce unloading and allocation errors. Color, plug or version differences should not be hidden inside identical outer cartons.
Control Barcodes and Market Labels
The buyer owns the accuracy and ownership of its barcode data and market-facing information. Confirm whether labels are printed on the box or applied later, and record their exact position.
Do not release mass printing while barcode, importer information or required local text is still under review. Reprinting can affect cost and the seasonal production schedule.
Keep a Packing Approval Set
Retain the approved artwork, dated PDF, printed sample photos and packing method. Inspection should compare production cartons with this reference.
Repeat orders should start from the previous approved version plus a written change list. This protects brand consistency and prevents old artwork from returning unnoticed.
