Why 5.0L and 5.5L Must Not Be Treated as the Same Specification

Capacity is part of product identity and can affect artwork, product comparison, customer expectation and destination-market claims. A half-liter difference may or may not matter to a buyer, but the decision belongs to the buyer and must be made before quotation. It should not be hidden by a shortened product name.

If exact 5.0L is required, request a current exact-model route and do not approve P18 as a substitute. If 5.5L is acceptable, identify P18 as the starting catalog reference and resolve its model code. If a range is acceptable, record the range and comparison criteria in the inquiry.

Resolve the Missing P18 Model Code

P18 is a catalog reference, not a published production model code. Before sample approval, obtain the current model identity and connect it to the exact image, capacity, construction, dimensions, controls, electrical version and date. Do not allow catalog P18 alone to remain the product identity in the purchase order.

Verify the Physical Capacity and Usable Cooking Space

The public record states 5.5L but does not define basket volume, usable cooking dimensions, supplied tray or rack, or measurement method. Approve the current physical unit and record the internal dimensions, basket or pan geometry and all included cooking parts.

If the buyer intends to publish food quantity, serving size or performance claims, test the approved sample using a documented load and method. A capacity number alone does not prove a serving claim or cooking result. Exact 5.0L inquiries require the same evidence on the proposed exact model.

Do Not Infer Construction from the Product Image

P18 does not publish material, product dimensions, coating, basket construction, controls, heater configuration, temperature range, programs, safety functions or accessories. The image can identify a catalog route, but it cannot replace a signed technical specification.

Ask for a part-by-part list covering the housing, basket or pan, food-contact coating, handle, control panel, heater, fan, safety devices and supplied accessories. Confirm 2400W and the Destination Electrical Version

The public P18 record states 2400W and AC220-240V. It does not publish frequency, plug, cord, fuse where applicable, nameplate, warning text, manual language or destination compliance evidence. The buyer must define the country and electrical version before price comparison.

Build the Missing Packing and Landed-Cost Basis

P18 does not publish retail-box dimensions, quantity per carton, master-carton dimensions, net weight, gross weight or loading quantity. Therefore no reliable freight, CBM, warehouse or container comparison can be made from the public page.

After the physical version is approved, request a dated packing sheet and verify the packed sample. Calculate volume from the final carton and exact quantity. Approve Food-Contact Parts and Cleaning Instructions

Identify every basket, tray, pan, rack, coating and removable food-contact component in the retail unit. Record material references, dimensions, surface treatment, quantity and cleaning method. The manual and packing list should match the approved sample.

Destination evidence depends on the exact materials and product version. Do not borrow a coating or food-contact document from another capacity or construction. Use the food-contact evidence route to connect documents to the production part.

Control OEM Artwork Around the Exact Capacity

The retail box, manual, product label, barcode data and sales images must use the approved capacity. P18 should be described as 5.5L once the current sample confirms that route. An exact 5.0L claim belongs only to an approved exact 5.0L model.

Use Sample Approval Before Production

The sample record should state whether the buyer accepted P18 5.5L, requested an exact 5.0L alternative or approved a defined capacity range. It should include the resolved model code, image, dimensions, construction, controls, food-contact parts, electrical version and packing direction.

Inspect the Capacity Version That Was Ordered

The pre-shipment checklist should identify the resolved model and exact capacity, then cover appearance, dimensions, usable cooking parts, materials, controls, electrical label, plug and cord, operation, accessories, artwork, retail box, carton marks, packing quantity and order count.
