Direct Answer for UK Appliance Importers
No. A motor, control board, power supply or wireless module report may support the technical file, but it does not automatically represent the finished appliance. The complete product can create different disturbances and respond differently after enclosure, wiring, cable length, grounding, load, display, switching devices, software and accessories are combined.
The Electromagnetic Compatibility Regulations 2016 require equipment to limit electromagnetic disturbance so other equipment can operate as intended and to have adequate immunity for its intended use without unacceptable degradation. The evidence route must address both sides of that requirement. Passing emissions does not prove immunity, and passing immunity does not prove emissions.
