Meat Grinder Watts vs Throughput: Compare the Sample, Not Just the Label

A larger wattage number cannot tell an importer how much prepared meat a grinder will process. Use the catalog to shortlist configurations, then compare measured results on a clearly defined basis.

Does higher meat grinder wattage mean faster grinding?

Not by itself. Watts describe an electrical power figure; throughput describes a measured quantity processed over time. Confirm what the supplier's wattage represents, then compare the exact electrical version, grinding assembly, food preparation, disc and timing method. Neither a catalog power range nor a #10 or #12 assembly label establishes kilograms per minute or continuous-duty capability.

Confirm which electrical figure is being quoted

A catalog line labeled “power options” is not a confirmed rated input for every sample. Ask the supplier to identify the selected version's rated input, voltage, frequency and nameplate or specification reference. If another power figure is advertised, request its definition and measurement basis separately. Do not relabel an unexplained figure as rated, peak or continuous power.

The three references below list 110–120 V or 220–240 V as separate order versions, not universal dual-voltage operation. Select the destination version before comparing offers. A shared wattage range does not establish identical motors, grinding results or operating limits.

LH-366 / P3451600–2800 W#10 aluminum grinding tube; six speeds and reverse; 7 / 5 / 3 mm discs.
LH-319 / P3551600–2800 W#10 aluminum grinding tube; on/off and reverse; coarse, medium and fine discs.
LH-326 / P3591200–2600 W#12 aluminum grinding tube; two speeds and reverse; medium, fine and scalloped discs.

These facts come from Kitchen Preparation Product Catalog pages 4, 6 and 7, reflected in the linked model records. The # labels identify catalog assembly references, not output ratings or guarantees that parts interchange. Do not transfer LH-366's stated disc dimensions to the other models.

LH-366's catalog image is an AI-generated illustration, not a product photograph. Its vegetable-cutting and tomato-sauce-processing attachments are explicitly optional. Confirm the actual sample and supplied attachment list; an illustration cannot establish either performance or inclusion.

Agree what will stay the same between samples

Write the comparison brief before requesting a demonstration. Keep these fields explicit:

  • Food: ingredient, preparation, trimming, piece dimensions, condition and measured batch mass. Use the same agreed preparation and condition for each comparison.
  • Machine: model, sample identifier, electrical version, assembly, blade, exact disc and attachment. Identify any setting selected under the manufacturer's instructions.
  • Method: number of passes, timing start and stop points, weighing method and who records results. Record interruptions, reverse use and unprocessed remainder.
  • Acceptance: required output texture, acceptable result criteria and repeat measurements agreed before testing. Keep rejected output separate from accepted output.

Follow the exact model's instructions and supplier-confirmed operating limits. Obtain permitted batch, runtime and rest conditions before testing; this article prescribes none. If candidates require different methods or conditions, record the difference and avoid presenting their results as a controlled comparison.

Distinguish grinding rate from the complete process

Record elapsed grinding time using the agreed start and stop points. Separately record preparation, assembly, interruptions, required rest and cleaning, then state which stages the overall process time includes. Never remove an interruption silently to improve a result.

Fictional arithmetic, not a product result

Suppose an imaginary record contains 3 kg of accepted output, 2 minutes of elapsed grinding time and 6 minutes for the defined overall process. The calculations are 3 ÷ 2 = 1.5 kg/min for grinding and 3 ÷ 6 = 0.5 kg/min for that overall process. These invented numbers are not Yaoyuan performance claims, recommended batch sizes, permitted runtimes or an operating protocol.

A short observation cannot establish sustained hourly capacity. Keep the measured duration visible instead of projecting a brief result into continuous operation. Report repeats and variation; a selected fastest run does not describe the whole sample review.

Complete both columns from the agreed review. A dash means unrecorded, not zero or a pass.

Turn the comparison into a buying decision

If the method matches and results meet the agreed criteria, retain that exact sample configuration for the next approval stage. If preparation, disc or timing differs, request a comparable review. If the proposed version cannot meet the requirement within its documented limits, revise the shortlist rather than extending runtime beyond those limits.

Use the meat grinder category for model selection and the golden sample approval guide to record the accepted version, attachments and later changes. A satisfactory grinding comparison does not replace electrical, material, cleaning or market-specific document review.

Buyer questions

Can I convert watts directly into kilograms per hour?

No. Obtain measured output under a defined method and duration. The catalog power figure does not supply that conversion.

Does #12 prove higher output than #10?

No. Keep the assembly reference with the exact model. Compare measured results, operating limits and the required finish.

Are six speeds automatically better for my order?

That depends on the intended use and agreed sample criteria. A control count alone does not establish throughput, texture or reliability.
